Welcome to Micasamajo. These Terms and Conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of our website (micasamajo.com) and the accommodation services provided by us in Barcelona/L'Hospitalet de Llobregat, Spain.

By accessing this website and booking a stay with us, you accept these terms and conditions in full. Do not continue to use Micasamajo's website or services if you do not accept all of the terms and conditions stated on this page.

1. Booking and Payments

• 1.1. Reservation: A booking is confirmed only when the deposit or full payment has been processed and you receive a confirmation email from Micasamajo.
• 1.2. Payment: We accept payments via Credit Card and Secure Online Transfer. All prices are in EUR (€).
• 1.3. Rates: Rates are subject to change. The price agreed upon at the time of booking is final.
• 1.4. Tourist Tax: Please note that the Catalonia tourist tax may apply and is payable upon arrival if not included in the online booking total.

2. Check-in and Check-out Policy

• 2.1. Check-in Time: Check-in is available from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
• 2.2. Arrival Coordination: Important: We do not have a 24-hour reception. You must inform us of your estimated arrival time at least 24 hours in advance.
• 2.3. Late Arrivals: Arrivals after 8:00 PM or unannounced delays may result in the inability to check in. We reserve the right not to accept guests who arrive outside of scheduled hours without prior approval.
• 2.4. Check-out Time: Check-out must be completed before 11:00 AM. Late check-out may incur additional fees.

3. Guest Registration and Identification

• 3.1. Legal Requirement: In compliance with Spanish Law (Organic Law 4/2015 on the Protection of Citizen Security), all guests must present a valid original Passport or National ID card upon arrival.
• 3.2. No Copies: Photos or photocopies of documents are not accepted. Failure to provide original identification will result in the refusal of entry without a refund.
• 3.3. Data Protection: Your personal data is collected solely for the purpose of legal registration with the authorities (Mossos d'Esquadra) and internal booking management.

4. House Rules & Conduct

To ensure a pleasant stay for all guests at Micasamajo, you agree to the following rules:

• 4.1. Quiet Hours: Please respect the silence between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM. This is a residential building, and neighbors' rest must be respected.
• 4.2. Shared Spaces: As you are booking a private room in a home, you agree to keep shared areas (kitchen, living room, bathrooms) clean and tidy after use.
• 4.3. No Smoking: Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the rooms and common areas.
• 4.4. No Pets: Pets are not allowed on the property.
• 4.5. No Parties: Parties or events are strictly forbidden.
• 4.6. Guests: Only registered guests are allowed to stay overnight.

5. Cancellation Policy

• 5.1. Standard Cancellation: Free cancellation is available if canceled at least 5 days before the check-in date. Cancellations made within 5 days of arrival are non-refundable.
• 5.2. No-Show: If you do not arrive on the scheduled check-in date without notice, the reservation will be considered a "No-Show" and is non-refundable.

6. Property Conditions and Liability

• 6.1. Damages: Guests are responsible for any damage caused to the property, furniture, or equipment during their stay. We reserve the right to charge for repairs or replacements.
• 6.2. Safety Notice: Please be aware that the property is not equipped with smoke or carbon monoxide alarms.
• 6.3. Noise Disclaimer: The property is strategically located near metro and train lines for excellent connectivity. Some city/train noise may be audible. No complaints or refunds will be accepted regarding external noise.
• 6.4. Accessibility: The property is not accessible for people with reduced mobility.
• 6.5. Valuables: Micasamajo is not responsible for the loss or theft of personal belongings left in the rooms or shared areas.

7. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Spain and the autonomous community of Catalonia. You irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that location.
